First Tourism Conference in Lviv "Win With The Lion" 2009

First tourist conference "Win with the Lion" took place in Lviv city on 29-30 October. It was organized by Lviv City Council in cooperation with tourist sphere representatives from Lviv city.

Representatives of tourist, hotel and restaurant spheres, educational establishments and museums, Ukrainian and foreign experts from Poland, Austria, Germany and the United Kingdom participated in the conference.

In the framework of the conference there were presentations of local and foreign experts in tourism sphere, round table dedicated to discussions of branding and tourist products of Lviv city, master classes and discussion regarding Lviv city joining International Association "European Cities Marketing". Exchange of experience among representatives of tourist sphere assists in promotion of Lviv city both at national and international levels.

Culture and tourism representatives have been awarded during the event for their contribution in development of Lviv city priority areas.

First Lviv tourist conference "Win with the Lion" became a platform for partnership and cooperation development in the sphere s of tourism and new projects design.

International tourist organization "European Cities Marketing" consists of 132 cities and 32 countries of Europe. "European Cities Marketing" is a network of city tourist offices. Organization's task is to enlarge the stream of tourists via effective city marketing. "European Cities Marketing" regularly conducts training, meetings and conferences for organization’s members.
